I’ve been absent from the blogosphere this week (I know, totally unlike me, right?), but I’m back now with exciting news!
First off, I love Billy Madison and I’d totally teach him the ins and outs of history. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I’ve been absent this week because I got a position as an Independent Contractor with Examiner.com! If you’ve been jonesing for my words (because words are crack . . . a–lacking good), hop on over to my Examiner page and check out the posts I put up this week! I’ve been hired to write on the topic of Gender Issues, and I’m loving it so far!
I have to admit I was hesitant to take the position even though I applied for it. There’s a lot of conflicting information concerning the Examiner available online. I decided to go for it, chiefly because most criticisms were poorly-worded and grammatically atrocious bitter rants. So far I have no regrets. They offer a lot of resources for SEO, content building, and effective marketing to their employees and that is another reason I decided to take the position. It pays a share in advertising revenues determined by article and author page views, so time will tell how monetarily lucrative this endeavor will be. For the time being it’s nice to see my words on another platform, and I’m digging the educational resources.
This does not mean I will not be blogging here anymore (you can’t get rid of me that easily). I wanted to get up my first articles on Examiner, and I also had to get used to a new writing style (third person and much more concise–the concise part is the most difficult for me but, dear readers, you already knew that).
So, until Monday when I’ll be posting here again, much love and happy writing! Oh yeah, and
